IN THE NAME OF THE SON acepted to Int'l Film Fest

The film IN THE NAME OF THE SON has been accepted into the 23rd SANTA BARBARA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, taking place in January 2008. The festival is an Academy Award qualifying festival. Ryan plays a World Cup soccer announcer in the film.

Ryan has booked a series of television commercials for Dodge automobiles. The first two spots were shot in Huntington Beach, CA earlier this week.

Ryan on TV this Sunday

Ryan will be featured on the new CW television series "Online Nation" this Sunday night at 7:30 / 6:30 Central. The new weekly series spotlights the most popular videos in the online world and also features an innovative interactive element as viewers will be able to see what others are saying and communicate live on the air.

The Very Angry Neighbor's "Jeremy" video starring Ryan O'Quinn, Danielle Weeks and AmyJo Steele makes it's television debut on the series this Sunday night.

"Online Nation" from executive producers David Hurwitz ("Fear Factor") and Paul Cockerill ("Trigger Happy TV," "Jimmy Kimmel Live") will be featuring other VAN videos on the series in the coming weeks.

Ryan voices Onion movie

Ryan provided the cartoon voice of the Global Tetrahedron Penguin as well as various other characters in the upcoming "The Untitled Onion Movie" due out later this year.

The feature is a sketch comedy feature film written by Robert Siegel and Todd Hanson, long-time editors and writers for The Onion website and publication. "The Untitled Onion Movie" incorporates the comic point of view of The Onion, the world's most popular humor periodical.

NBA '08 Release Date Set

Sony computer Entertainment America has announced the release date for NBA '08: The Life Volume 3. It is slated to hit shelves on Oct 2, 2007. Ryan stars as Marc Johnson, the antagonistic sports reporter that broadcasts from the locker rooms and the sidelines. Ryan completed voice over and motion capture earlier this year.

In the Name of the Son screens at Telluride

The film "In the name of the Son" has been accepted in to the world famous Telluride Film Festival in Colorado. Ryan portrays the FIFA World Cup Announcer in the film that follows the story of a Bosnian prisoner of war who immigrates to the United States.

The 34th Anuual Telluride Film Festival will be held August 31st - September 3rd 2007. There are currently no passes available and the box office is sold out.

Ryan wraps Slater pic, upcoming releases

Last week Ryan wrapped ADR production on the feature film Love Lies Bleeding with Christian Slater. The film is slated for release in 2008.

This Fall Ryan will appear on the CW series "Online Nation". Later this year Ryan will be seen and heard in various voice over projects, films and video games including Strange Wilderness with Adam Sandler, Say it in Russian with Faye Dunaway, The Little Traitor starring Alfred Molina and will be a character in the video game “NBA ‘08” from Sony Computer Entertainment.

Ryan featured in "The Malibu Times" newspaper

Ryan O'Quinn is featured in the current issue of The Malibu Times Newspaper on news stands today.

The story, which appears on the front page of the publication's "Life and Arts" section, calls O'Quinn "multitalented" and "on a successful career path". The article also calls the Very Angry Neighbors video group "the newest stars of...YouTube".

The publication shows various behind the scenes photos of O'Quinn as well as publicity stills.

This week "Us Weekly" magazine's official website features the comedy production group Very Angry Neighbors' video parody of celebrity babies.

The video was also featured this week on AOL and received more than 200,000 hits in a 24 hour period.

V.A.N. honored by YouTube

Ryan O'Quinn and the Los Angeles comedy team Very Angry Neighbors have been honored by the web portal YouTube. Various comedy parodies and shorts were selected as Editor's Top Picks and featured on the Comedy Page the week of June 4th. The most recent release, a comedy documentary in the style of filmmaker Errol Morris, was honored by YouTube editors in five categories within hours of the release:

"Eddie's Winning Date" claims Film Fest prize

VAN named YouTube Star of the Moment

Ryan O'Quinn and the comedy team Very Angry Neighbors was named "YouTube Star of the Moment" after winning the G4 Network's competition on the television series "Attack of the Show" which aired this week.

VAN is now in the running for "YouTube Star of the Month".

Ryan on TV tonight

Ryan O'Quinn has booked a voice role in the feature film "Say it in Russian" from writer/director Jeff Celentano. O'Quinn provides ADR (additional dialog recording) for various Russian prisoners in the film.

Ryan O'Quinn will be heard voicing numerous British soldiers in the upcoming film "The Little Traitor" starring Alfred Molina. Additionally in the film he provides the voice of the United Nations secretary during the historic 1947 UN roll call which established the creation of the state of Israel.The film is based on the novel "Panther in the Basement" by Amos Oz.

O'Quinn voices British sportscaster

Ryan O'Quinn has booked the voice over role of the FIFA World Cup Sportscaster in the upcoming film "In the Name of the Son".
The story revolves around Tarik, a Bosnian soldier who is captured by Serbian forces. Tarik moves to the US trying to start a a new life and leave his past behind. Years later his best friend's killer shows up and Tarik is stuck between his need for revenge and his humanity.

Good Morning America Press Release

Following a series of popular, comedic online videos
that has been emailed around the world, actor Ryan
O’Quinn and his Los Angeles-based production team
have caught the eye of Good Morning America and will
be featured on the program this Wednesday December
6th.
Entertainment Weekly reports that online videos are
changing the way Hollywood does business. According
to YouTube.com more than 100 million videos are
viewed on the site every 24 hours and approximately
42,000 videos are uploaded daily. Recently O’Quinn’s
writing/production team won a contest sponsored by
Panasonic and YouTube.com and was named as a “Best
Comedy” on the site.
Another video was named the #1 comedy on iFilm.com
and television and radio stations as far away as
England have asked permission to use O’Quinn’s
characters on their website. E! Entertainment
Television has asked permission to use various
segments and recently he was featured on Bravo
Network’s “Outrageous and Contagious Viral Videos”.

Sony Video Game

Ryan O'Quinn has been named as a Lead Actor (including voice over and motion capture) for the video game NBA '08 from Sony Computer Entertainment America.

Principal photography began last week at Sony's Motion Capture stages in San Diego.
